Day 1- Cochin/ Varkala
In the morning you will be driven to Varkala (100 km). Upon arrival in Varkala, check into the hotel Taj Garden Retreat. Day is free, you can pursue own activities. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 2- Varkala
In the morning a visit to the Portuguese church of Anjengo is arranged. Also visit the English Fort, constructed in 1695 A.D. by the English 'East India Company'. You can relax in the afternoon as it is free. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 3- Varkala/ Kumarakom
You will be driven to Kumarakom (100 km) in the morning. Upon arrival, check into hotel Taj Garden Retreat. After the lunch, visit the Bird Sanctuary in adjacent wooded marshland, where you will find egrets, tree pies, black headed orioles, bee-eaters and a whole host of herons. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 4- Kumarakom
You have full day at leisure and you can opt for Ayurveda therapy on direct payment basis. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 5- Kumarakom/ Periyar
In morning, you are driven to Periyar (120 km). Upon arrival at Periyar, check into hotel Taj Garden Retreat. Explore the wildlife, while cruising at the Periyar Lake. Periyar Lake or reservoir is created by a dam on Periyar River and is the heart of the Wildlife Sanctuary. You will find wild elephants, Asiatic Deer, Black Buck and tigers, who come to shores of the lake to drink water. Thereafter you are at leisure to explore the nearby spice market. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 6- Periyar
On the sixth day of the tour, you have full day at your leisure and you can opt for Ayurveda therapy on direct payment basis. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 7- Periyar/ Cochin
In the morning, you are driven to Cochin from Periyar (160 km) and later transfer to the airport for flight back home.
